White, daughter of Richard White and Emily Jane Gump, on 30 September 1917 at Calhoun County, West Virginia.² Ralph Greeley Carpenter married Marie M. Brannon, daughter of Peter Thomas Brannon and Vietta Boggs, on 20 September 1925 at Calhoun County, West Virginia.² Ralph Greeley Carpenter died on 1 January 1978 at West Virginia at age 84.¹
